Introducing Shell Points – Nerite's native loyalty reward system.
Everyone hates Defi project points programs. But everyone also loves earning rewards. So we're doing something different.
We came up with Shell Points, an anti-points points program, where Nerite users get real tokens on Arbitrum every day for borrowing, depositing, LP'ing, supplying, streaming, and using our stablecoin, USND.
You can find your current shell points at the leaderboard page in our app or in your own wallet. By borrowing USND from Nerite, or using it in a variety places users will earn Shell Points every day. No hoops, no “quests,” no spammy tasks, no registration, no need to claim or even connect your wallet. Just explore, transact, and contribute. Bonus points will be distributed at various intervals when growth goals are met too.
To start, just user Nerite and our stablecoin, USND. Then Shell Points will be sent straight to your wallet at the end of every day, starting now.
How to earn Shell Points:

How are Shell Points different than most points programs?
- Shell Points are real tokens, on Arbitrum. They are untradable (currently), but can be easily shown in your wallet, onchain analytics services like Dune, or portfolio trackers. This makes the system considerably more transparent and easier to track publicly.
- A set number of Shell Points are distributed every day. So a huge deposit from a new user for a short time will not greatly dilute everyone. This is more fair to long term users.
