Nerite is teaming up with Privacy Pools for their inaugural Arbitrum launch!
Privacy is normal.
Yield on your stablecoins is also normal.
Enjoy both for the first time.
Now users can deposit yUSND (the yield bearing version of Nerite’s USND stablecoin) into the Privacy Pools to safely contribute to a privacy set of depositors, and withdraw later with yield to a completely private wallet.
How does Privacy Pools work?
Privacy Pool enables private withdrawals through a combination of zero-knowledge proofs and commitment schemes. Users can deposit assets into Privacy Pools and later withdraw them, either partially or fully, without creating an on-chain link between their deposit and withdrawal addresses. The protocol uses an Association Set Provider (ASP) to maintain a set of approved deposits, preventing potentially illicit funds from entering the system and enabling regulatory compliance.
How does yUSND work?
USND can be deposited in the Nerite protocol’s Stability Pools to earn most of the interest paid by USND borrowers, and all of the liquidations fees earned by the protocol. yUSND is a vault token from Yearn which aggregates yield from several different Stability Pools. Anyone can deposit USND into the Yearn USND vault and receive yield bearing yUSND tokens.
Where can I get yUSND?
Borrow the USND $1.00 stablecoin from Nerite, or buy USND on a DEX and deposit in the Yearn vault here:
https://app.nerite.org/earn/yusnd
Users can even swap USDC on Arbitrum directly into yUSND with no extra slippage on Balancer here:

Why deposit yUSND?
Contributing to privacy sets helps everyone involved. But there is also an opportunity cost towards holding funds without earning yield, in the Privacy Pool. With yUSND, deposits earn decentralized and sustainable yield from the immutable Nerite protocol.
